Cinderella may be endlessly mistreated by her hilariously wicked stepmother and outrageous stepsisters and denied a chance to go to the royal ball, she is helped by her kindly best friend, a silly rat named Putterman, and her magical Fairy Godmother and is whisked off to make her dreams come true - with a few twists and turns along the way, of course.
This new and magical Cinderella will charm its way into your heart, and remind you that dreams really can come true.
Cast size is 8 although it is easily expandable.Beautifully orchestrated music performance tracks, piano/vocal scores, and e-scripts are available.
Though smaller show than some of the other Cinderella versions out there - it still has all the magical elements that kids know and love – as well as a few twists along the way!
The musical is an “easy to produce” production. It minimizes the use of large magical effects such as having a dress or pumpkin coach magically appear. The smaller cast size makes it easy to tour, if desired. It can be performed in one or two acts - running time approximately 65 minutes.

"This new version of Cinderella features the book, lyrics and music by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, a team that has an impressive track record of composing first-rate stage shows for young audiences.
Even standing in the shadows of those other Cinderella giants by Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Disney - this one stands on its own quite nicely. The structure of the script, which is built with quick, short scenes, is ideal for young audiences. This is a highly satisfying Cinderella. It has tons of fabulous acting and singing and, in the end, the transparent shoe fits."

The result is a hilarious evening revisiting a familiar story of the poor girl who works and slaves for her evil stepmother and her daughters, then with the help of her fairy godmother, finds true love at the prince's ball."
